I rented a Civic Sport sedan on Turo for this evaluation, and I found it to be a pleasure to drive, with spry handling, an upscale cabin and admirable fuel economy. It is a family-friendly sedan that doesnt feel like a cheap conveyance, and apart from the similarly posh Mazda3, I think the Civic stands a cut above rivals like the Toyota Corolla, Nissan Sentra and Hyundai Elantra.
The Civic is as enjoyable to drive as it is easy on the eyes. I appreciated its precise steering and buttoned-down handling when hustling the car along back roads and valued its cushioned ride when the road surface turned rough. The cabin looks and feels like it could belong in a luxury car, thanks in part to the sleek honeycomb mesh that spans the dashboard and conceals the air vents.
